Virginia Seminar

September 10^th & 11^th, 2005

Virginia Beach, VA

The weekend of September 10^th & 11^th Sensei Jeff Bateman and Jeff Bateman’s School of Karate hosted the Virginia State Seminar.  Sensei Bud Shafer traveled from Florida to be present with Sensei Yamashita.  Patrick Callan from Connecticut and Wendy and Darryl Smith from Indiana were also in attendance.  Over 100 students from around the East Coast attended the 2 day seminar in Virginia Beach, Virginia.  On Saturday, Sensei Tadashi Yamashita taught the Kihon Complexes and ran 2-man drills.  After lunch he taught Nunchukas.  On Sunday, Sensei started out with Sai Hojo Undos and then went into Kata Dai Ichi.  He then reviewed the Kihons complexes and Kihon Self defense.  Thank you to all who attended the event.  We all had a great time!
